Burger, Butter Chicken, Beer and Bowling at Route 3 Cellar Taproom & Grill in Liverpool 🍔 🍗 🍻 🎳
🍔 The first main on the menu is a Whiskey Burger. When you are in a Cellar in Liverpool, the home of the privateers, Whiskey sounds like a great option.
🥨 Warning - you will need a significant finger span to wrap your hand around this enormous handheld. It starts with a 6oz handmade patty, topped with mixed greens, roasted sweet red pepper, red onion, sharp cheddar, perfectly done bacon and house-made whiskey sauce. For a bit of crunch, a dill pickle is balance across the top of a grilled pretzel bun. It’s normally served with crispy coated fries but I couldn’t turn down the spinach salad.
🥗 The Spinach Salad is packed full of goodness with greens, dried cranberries, and red onion, topped with pecans and bacon bits, then drizzled with house-made honey vinaigrette.
🥣 Butter Chicken - smooth and tasty, mildly spiced, tomato and coconut milk sauce with marinated chicken breast, served on a bed of rice with naan bread.
