🔥🗓️ 🔥 Charlotte Lane Cafe is rocking the year and it’s only January! They have introduced their first tasting menu of the 2025 - a 7 course Moroccan Night! 🇲🇦 😋
🍹 Drink of the night - Spiced Ginger Mojito topped with Moroccan Spices and Mint
🥖 1st Taste - Sharable Mezze Platter with hummus, lentil dip, mkaouara, beet purée and 2 types of dipping bread!
🍤 2nd Taste - Shrimp with chermoula, olives and preserved lemons
🍲 3rd Taste - Soup with handmade lamb and veal sausage topped with Moroccan spices
🥩 4th Taste - Steak Kefta with mint sauce and pickled onions. The steak cuts perfectly marinated.
🥣 5th Taste - Couscous with preserved lemons, a Moroccan specialty, cacik, and topped with lamb stew and toasted almonds.
🦆 6th Taste - Duck Tagine. Tagine is the name of the cooking vessel as well as the food served in it. Tonight thinly sliced duck confit topped ras el hanout and harissa.
🍮 7th Taste - Meskouta Lemon Cake with squash ice cream, topped with candied seeds and nuts.
🍷 If you are looking for a wine pairing check out the Portuguese and Spanish wines on the drink menu - both work very well with Moroccan flavours.
💸 The 7 course tasting menu only $40.

Wednesday to Sunday: 5:00pm - 8:00pm spring and fall.
Summers: open for lunch too.
